About the project
The first chapter of a two-part home — a study in color, pattern, and the art of a beautifully prepared room.
Riverdale I was where pattern became the lead voice — scenic wallpapers, hand-blocked textiles, and a careful layering of tone on tone. The home asked to be collected, not decorated, and we obliged slowly over many months.
This was the first of two renovations for the same family. Riverdale II followed a year later, next door.

It’s the element we returned to again and again on this project — the one that set the palette, the plan, and the way a visitor reads the room. Every other decision here was made in service of it.
